Hovering in limbo somewhere between the worlds of Indie Electronic and Synth Pop, featuring down to Earth Pop vocals accompanied by vintage synthesizers, his style is infused with elements of retro analog dirtiness and modern shine all at the same time.

 

Gathering momentum with rotation on local Commercial radio, featuring on playlists from Ultra Music and Spinnin’ Records, he has already made a significant impact on the Electronic music scene, he has established himself as a dynamic electronic music producer, DJ, and remixer who is globally relevant. 

 

Performing at local festivals, and nominations for local Music Awards all in the first 12 months since his first official release everything seems to be traveling well. The support from blogs and magazines is tangible with features in the highly acclaimed Earmilk, Happy Magazine, Electrowow, Tinnitist, TJPL News, Suit For A Wolf and more.

 

The success is not surprising, considering as a producer he has done it all, with releases spanning from orchestral cinematic scores, to soul infused underground Hip Hop records, influences that can all be detected in the aesthetic of the sound. He boldly pushes past the boundaries of Pop, fusing sun-soaked house with retro synth pop to create a whole new Universe of sound.

 

The Domain started his musical journey playing Rock guitar when he was around 11 years old - even studied music at University with a specialty in guitar performance when he was just 14 after completing school early. After experiencing homelessness in his teenage years and developing love of freestyle rap he even toured Australia as a Hip Hop artist.

 

“The Domain” is an obscure reference to the Roswell alien interview, and it reflects the futuristic alien eclectic tunes that he creates as he traverses different musical genres. It's about sonic bliss. In his tracks, he mixes the best of modern Pop and Dance Music with the soul and emotion of vintage soul music and the grit of vintage synthesizers in the pursuit of sonic perfection.
